Queensland police Assistant Commissioner Shane Chelepy says like all cyclones, Seth is unpredictable and being monitored closely. It was hard to find a spot on Bundaberg Region beaches this morning as the summer king tide was pushed even higher by Tropical Cyclone Seth. The weather bureau said Seth was moving in a southerly direction while maintaining category one intensity. Cyclones are characterized by inward spiraling winds that rotate about a zone of low pressure and typically bring winds, rain, high waves and storm surges to the areas they pass.
